Since the plaster mill closed in 1980, this building has served as the Hillsborough Village Office and library. Built in 1907, this office replaced the original mill office built in 1855 at another location.

Situated near the office, these silos were built in 1932 to load Hillsborough's unusally pure and white rock gypsum into ocean going ships on the Petitcodiac water front.
