Description of Historic Place
The former site of the Yarrow Post Office was a post office, located on the Old Yale Wagon Road in the Yarrow neighbourhood in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The historic place includes a fireplace and a part of the original foundation.
Heritage Value
The site has historic value as its served as an important milestone and communication post. It also holds social value through the role the post office played in serving the residents of Majuba Hill, which opened on July 1, 1990, in the home of William Chadsey (the subject property).
